Corn and Spinach Sandwich
Ingredients
- 1 cup Chopped & boiled spinach
- 1/2 cup Sweet (American) corn
- 1/2 cup Grated paneer
- 1/2 cup White sauce (link in notes and instructions)
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1/2 tbsp Black pepper powder
- 1/4 tbsp White salt or according to taste
- Grated mozzarella cheese or 2 processed cheese cubes (optional)
Instructions
- Take a vessel/pan and add oil
- Place the pan on medium flame
- Add chopped spinach and sauté it until the spinach leaves wilt
- Note: Don’t overcook
- Now add boiled sweet corn and grated paneer
- Also, add salt and black pepper
- Now, add the white sauce and whisk well
- Switch off the flame
- The filling’s ready!!
- Set up the grill and let it get hot
- Take two slices of brown bread / the bread of your choice and add 1 spoonful of the prepared dressing
- Spread the across the bread slice
- Sprinkle some grated mozzarella cheese on it
- And now grill the sandwich
- Finally, serve the Spinach and Corn Sandwich with tomato sauce or green chutney
- Repeat this procedure for the other sandwich
