Equipment

  • Knife
  • Kadaai or deep bottom frying pan

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Bananas
  • 3 tbsp Mustard oil
  • 1 pinch Hing
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • 1 tsp[ Red Chili Powder
  • 2 tsp Dry coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder (haldi)
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 1/2 tsp White salt
  • 1/4 cup Kasoori Methi
  • 1 & 1/5 tsp Dry amchoor powder
  • 2 Green Chilli (Chopped)
  • 1/4 cup Cup Water

Instructions
 

  • Peel off the raw bananas, using a knife
  • Cut the raw banana into 4 long pieces and then chop them
  • Add oil in a pan (kadhai) and heat it completely
  • when oil is completed heated, turn the flame to medium
  • Add Hing and Jeera, let them crackle. Next add Red chilli powder
  • Add the chopped raw bananas
  • Next add all remaining spices, except Amchoor Powder & Kasuri Methi
  • Now add water and mix well
  • Cover the pan (kadhai) with a lid. Let the vegetable cook on low/medium flame for 3 minutes
  • Remove the lid and add 2 tbsp water if it appears to be very dry.
  • Next add the kasuri methi and mix well.
  • Add amchoor powder and mix once again
  • Add finely chopped green chilli
  • WOW! The extremely delicious Kachhe kele kasuri methi ki sabji/ Raw banana vegetable is ready! Serve hot!
