Aloo Ka Halwa

- ½ cup ghee
- 1 cup boiled potato peeled & mashed
- ¼ cup sugar
- ¼ tsp green cardamom powder
- 8 to 10 strands saffron soaked & rubbed in 2 tsp warm milk
Heat ghee in a pan
Add mashed potatoes, and sauté on medium flame until aromatic, lightly golden, and ghee separates.
Add sugar and mix well. Cook until the halwa turns glossy.
Stir in saffron milk and cardamom powder.
Mix thoroughly and cook for a couple of minutes.
Serve hot, garnished with extra ghee if desired.
